Paris montage

A landscape of Paris. Directed by Jeffrey DeChausse. Jordan Valenti, Director of Photography. We shot all of this in two days. We are doing a revised color corrected cut now.

ancestry.com

This is a brand new campaign I just directed. As a matter of fact I am working on my director's cuts as we speak. Overall it was great experience with a great agency and client. We did a ton of research to find the stock footage - which I then worked backwards to shoot the campaign based on the historical stock.

Global Energy Documentaries - 2008

www.clearblueskyfilms.com
www.boxerfilms.net

An amazing partnership has been launched with Boxer Films and Vulcan Productions. Together we will be working alongside a team in Washington D.C. to produce a series of short films on energy and climate related issues worldwide. Vulcan's founder is Paul G. Allen, one of the co-founder of Microsoft. Along side his organization and Boxer, I am slated to direct a series of documentaries that will make an impact on the current global energy crisis.

We are scheduled to shoot in April.

Digital Domain - upcoming work

www.digitaldomain.com

I have hooked up with my good friend Steve Dyson - who is a special effects genius at Digital Domain. They have won many awards, including an Oscar for their work on movies like "Titanic" and other huge hits. He and I will be working on two short films with that have amazing effects. We start casting and location scouting the beginning of this year. I will be directing them at the Digital Domain stage in Venice beach.

Lexus Docs

www. boxerfilms.net

It has been a year since the Lexus work was launched and it is still being talked about. It got a ton of press all over the world and has given me a great niche. This year we found out they were screened at the Cannes director's showcase. It was great to have your work played at such a beautiful venue.

American Auto - documentary update

www.americanautomovie.com

4 years. 120 hours of film. 2 editors.

We are making great progress and a bunch of people have come on board. Susan Applegate, a Detroit native, who now lives in Los Angeles has joined the team as a post-producer. Jan Lucas, an incredible editor has also come on board. He will be working along side me as a co-director and editor. This is a laborious process - and truly a project of love. So many people have helped keep the momentum going on this documentary. So I am pleased where things are heading. Will keep you posted when we have a cut. In the meantime, Executive Producer Judy Hoffman and myself are working on a distribution plan and looking at the right festivals to launch the film.

fundmentalhealth.org

www.fundmentalhealth.org

This is a non for profit organization I started with my wife Dr. Julie Pan. She is a psychiatrist at UCLA and has been actively involved throughout her career with the mentally ill - in particular to increase government funding which has taking a back seat in the G.W. Bush administration. Along with five of Julie's colleagues, we launched this TV spot nationwide and set up a website where folks can contact their local representative and voice their concern about the current problems with mental health funding.

Sperfect - A new short film

www.sperfectmovie.com

This is a new short I decided to write and direct. It's a co-production with Secret Identity Films and was executive produced by Brandon Barrera and myself. It's in the editing bay now - will keep you posted when we have a cut. We shot here in Los Angeles over 5 days and had a great cast and crew. Lot of work with little money - but tons of fun. It was great to do something outside the commercial box.

Health Net Press

Press on recent work for Health net. The campaign has increase their membership on the east coast by 16%.

Health Net TV

Here is a recent TV spot I just directed for Health Net. We spent three weeks in Connecticut shooting them and met some amazing folks - plus we ate some amazing Italian food. The spots were created by Wong Doody - a great creative agency with offices in Los Angeles and Seattle.

Fuck Oil Campaign

www.fuckoil.com

A propaganda campaign that was created by Jeffrey DeChausse to promote alternative fuel. Posters and stickers have been placed throughout Los Angeles, New York and Chicago.

I am currently doing research for a documentary on folks who design cars here in California - cars of the future that even run on hydrogen. Maybe we can get Detroit off their ass and catch up with the Toyota. That way we can get the hell out of the Middle East.

They look great on Hummers!
